Bài này giúp em kể hôm qua đã ở đâu và làm gì, dùng thì quá khứ đơn. Địa điểm: theatre (nhà hát), aquarium (thủy cung), campsite (khu cắm trại), funfair (khu vui chơi hội chợ), sports centre (trung tâm thể thao). Hỏi đã ở đâu: “Were you at the aquarium yesterday?” – “Yes, I was.” hoặc “No, I wasn't.” (I/he/she dùng was; we/you/they dùng were). Hỏi đã làm gì: “What did you do there?” – “We watched the fish.” Động từ có quy tắc thêm -ed: listen → listened, watch → watched, dance → danced, play → played, jog → jogged.

Ý chính cần nhớ

• Where were you yesterday? – I was at home. / We were at the campsite.
• Were you at the …? – Yes, I was. / No, I wasn't.
• What did you do there? – We listened to music / watched the fish / played chess.
• Quá khứ có quy tắc: thêm -ed (danced, jogged).
