Bài này giúp em kể về những truyện thiếu nhi quen thuộc. Truyện: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Bạch Tuyết và bảy chú lùn), The Ant and the Grasshopper (Kiến và Châu chấu), The Tortoise and the Hare (Rùa và Thỏ), The Fox and the Crow (Cáo và Quạ). Hỏi nhân vật chính: “Who are the main characters in the story?” – “They're the fox and the crow.” Hỏi nhân vật đã làm việc gì như thế nào (thì quá khứ): “How did the hare run?” – “He ran fast.” Trạng từ: well (giỏi), hard (chăm chỉ), fast (nhanh), beautifully (hay). Truyện cổ thường mở đầu bằng “Once upon a time…” (Ngày xửa ngày xưa…).
